This is one play no one saw coming…

Sydney Walker’s new job is perfect.

She loves the adorable kids she nannies. She loves living in this amazing mansion. She loves the kid’s mom, and she loves her NFL quarterback boss.

But not the way the media says.

Ugly rumors that she and her boss Drew Callahan are having a torrid affair are everywhere, destroying her reputation and threatening everything she loves. So Drew’s wife Fable comes up with the perfect idea.

A fake relationship between Sydney and a hot team rookie? Yes, please.

Wade Knox is forever indebted to Drew and Fable and readily agrees to the set up. Pretending to be in love with the sexy nanny for a week—how hard can it be?

Turns out faking it was no safe bet after all.

**This mash-up new adult romance features characters from both the One Week Girlfriend series and The Rules series!!**

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Safe Bet was high on the sweetness and low on the angst. I was hooked from the beginning. The chapters were short and kept my intrigued throughout the book.

Wade and Sydney were so cute together, they frustrated me at times because they were both unsure of what the other wanted… too much like real life lol.

Although I laughed and swooned and fell in love with all of the characters, I found the ending lacking. I needed more. I don’t always need high stakes drama, but something. I just felt like the story ended before it was really over.

That said the attraction between these two was magnetic and undeniable and it was fun watching them turn something fake into something real.

Safe Bet can be read as a standalone even though this is a mashup of two different series.
