Music is a staple in pretty much everyone’s day to day lives, from the radio to watching music videos on YouTube… we all love it. Although rock star romances seem to the most popular romance genre, these romances with musicians list is going to be an eclectic mix of genres from classical to country. It will of course feature some rock stars as well, but it seems I haven’t read many!
Everyone one of these recommendations of romances with musicians I have personally read and all my stamp of approval!
Rockstar by Lauren Rowe
The relationship between Dax and Violet is sexy, their connection is instant. Their chemistry is off the charts. My heart hurt for them throughout the book, but the grand gesture as amazing! Not to mention all of the songs that Dax wrote for Violet.
Mister Bodyguard by Lauren Rowe
I was in satiable when it came to Zander and Aloha’s romance. I couldn’t put Mister Bodyguard down and I never wanted it to end even though I easily devoured the story in a day. This is easily one of the best romantic comedies I’ve read, from the family bonds, to the drama and conflict being expertly balanced.
The Accidentals by Sarina Bowen
The Accidentals by Sarina Bowen rocked my world! I have the vaguest idea of what would happen going in, but it was so much more! Surprising, heartfelt and devastating.
The Unbreakable Thread Duet by Lisa Suzanne
I feel like the characters are still living and breathing and I’m just missing it. It’s such a strange feeling to have, because you feel this desire to pick the book back up and find out what is happening, only to realize that it’s the end. There is nothing else. There are no more pages to read right now
A Little Like Destiny Trilogy by Lisa Suzanne
A Little Like Destiny is love triangle angst to the nth degree. I was unsettled and had nervous anxiety throughout the entire book. I felt the urge to puke on numerous occasions, yet I couldn’t seem to stray far from the words that were turning my world upside down.
Taming Trouble by Jiffy Kate
Taming Trouble follows Tucker Benoit and I fell hard and fast for Tucker. He is at a crossroad in his life and not really sure where to go from there. The story is told primarily from Tucker’s POV and it ripped my heart out at times. When he struggled I was right there struggling with him. He had a lot of growing up to do, and I enjoyed seeing the transformation in him.
Memories of Us by Fabiola Francisco
Hunter and Kenzie’s story was driven by emotional highs and lows, one minute this couple had me in tears and in the next I was swooning, because Hunter is what book boyfriends should be made of. These two have lived a lifetime together and apart that would break most people but Hunter stayed strong in his convictions of love, even when he knew that he was the reason for them being apart.
Roomies by Christina Lauren
Holland and Calvin were the perfect match for each other, even if they made me a tad batty at times because they couldn’t see the whole picture like I could and the characters around them. They were flaw-filled characters that were written to perfection.
Rebel Desire Series by Fabiola Francisco
I am so glad that I took a chance on Lovin’ On You by Fabiola Francisco! Fabiola actually wrote lyrics for some of Cash’s bands songs, and let me tell you… this girl can write lyrics not just novels… I swooned so hard!
Faded Duet by Julie Johnson
Not only was Faded torture in an amazing way, the lyrics that Johnson spun were delightful and heartbreaking. The scenes she painted were so vivid that I was convinced that I have been to Nashville and LA.
Player by Staci Hart
I got some major 90s romcom vibes from the story, from the bet with the douchey friend and and the transformation of the girl, the beginning for Player had me thinking about She’s All That.
Drumline by Stacy Kestwick
I love Reese and Laird and their chemistry, but it was all of the side characters in this story that really made it shine for me. Smith, Marco and Eli and Amelia. Drumline has it ALL. Prepare your self for excellence and one click Drumline today.
