I was just his best friend’s little sister.
But he was always more than that to me.
After twelve years of pining over Patrick’s easy smile, baby blues, and captivating charm, I decide to take matters into my own hands—and completely blow my chance.
Who knew a self-proclaimed manwhore would decide to be a gentleman the first time I’m naked in his bed? Definitely, not me. But when I land there again, neither of us has any intention of stopping.
There’s only one problem: nobody can know. Especially not my three older brothers. If they found out, all hell would break loose.
So I’m willing to keep our secret…
Because I want him Wright here, right now.
I received this book for free from Inkslinger PR in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
Oh my goodness! I don’t even know where to begin to tell you how much I LOOOVED The Wright Secret! Let me start with this. Although, this is technically a standalone, I would recommend reading in order, because I read the first two books, somehow I managed to miss the third book and there were some pretty big -ish spoilers in The Wright Secret from the previous book. Those will not keep me from going back and reading how these things happened. But. wow. If you have read the first and missed the third, do yourself a favor and read it first.
Although brothers best friend isn’t my favorite troupe, I do enjoy it immensely and K.A. Linde executed if flawlessly! The angst, the humor and the pacing were on point and I just blew right through it.
“You’re different, Morgan. You’re not just some girl. You never have been, and you never will be.”
We have seen Morgan’s crush on Patrick throughout the series, everyone including her sister, brothers and their significant others. The only person oblivious to this crush was Patrick. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing him coming to the realization that Morgan is a beautiful woman and watching these two fall in love.
“Here I’d been all this time, trying not to look at her. Trying to avoid seeing her as anything more than Austins’ little sister.”
The Wright Secret is sexy, charming and full of family drama! If you love family saga’s the entire Wright series is just right for you! 😉
