Jake
I know she’s lying the moment I see her.
That her name is as fake as her story. She’s barged into my life like a beautiful nightmare, turning everything upside down.
It hasn’t stopped me from trying to help her. Protect her. Save her from the threats that seem to come out of nowhere.
She’s put my entire world at risk. My reputation. My business. My livelihood.
But Mia brought me back to life. And I will do anything to save hers.
Mia
I was running for my life the night I met Jake.
Broken down on the road to nowhere. Lost. Homeless. Scared out of my mind.
I don’t care. I’m willing to risk it all to start over. Desperate to hide and never be found again.
But it doesn’t take much for Jake to break down my defenses. A soft word. A gentle touch. He becomes mine, but more importantly, I become his.
Until the nightmare of my past shows up, pissed off as hell…

Touching Sin was my first read by J Saman, I went in pretty blind and it paid off! She is a great story teller and I couldn’t get enough of Jake and Mia.
I was a little nervous there for a bit because I was a thinking we might get a love triangle, but that was thankfully avoided, but that didn’t stop me from searching to see when different things would happen during the story, like when of those men might show up again.
I was on the edge of my, with the feeling of needing to look over my shoulder while reading Touching Sin. There was a few possible outcomes that I came up with on my own and man that had me a tad stressed.
Touching Sin, is a romantic suspense novel, with a dark sinister vibe, think Enough (the movie with JLo). I seriously enjoyed watching Mia grow and become a bad ass after putting herself in a position to defend and protect herself from the past she was running from.
I found Touching Sin empowering and devastating. I hate that anyone has to go through what Mia did, but it is a sad reality and I love watching Jake help build Mia back up, while being patient and understanding.
Touching Sin, is a sexy story that delves into very real issues that are often swept under the rug or ignored. I loved how Ms. Saman built Mia and helped her grow independently and with a man there cheering her on.
