A sexy standalone novel from New York Times and international bestselling author Elle Kennedy
Everyone says opposites attract. And they must be right, because there’s no logical reason why I’m so drawn to Colin Fitzgerald. I don’t usually go for tattoo-covered, video-gaming, hockey-playing nerd-jocks who think I’m flighty and superficial. His narrow view of me is the first strike against him. It doesn’t help that he’s buddy-buddy with my brother.
And that his best friend has a crush on me.
And that I just moved in with them.
Oh, did I not mention we’re roommates?
I suppose it doesn’t matter. Fitzy has made it clear he’s not interested in me, even though the sparks between us are liable to burn our house down. I’m not the kind of girl who chases after a man, though, and I’m not about to start. I’ve got my hands full dealing with a new school, a sleazy professor, and an uncertain future. So if my sexy brooding roomie wises up and realizes what he’s missing?
He knows where to find me.

The Chase by Elle Kennedy is unputdownable! I devoured Fitzy and Summer’s story!
Truly one of the things that I enjoyed the most about The Chase is that although the tropes are fairly common the story itself isn’t cliche. Summer and Fitzy were both flawed and stubborn and I loved them more for it! Summer’s reputation precedes her and getting to know the real her was beautiful. I also really enjoyed seeing Fitz come out of his shell. These two compliment each other so well!
For the most part The Chase was a lighter read, but it was also a very emotional story, my heart did that weird flipping heart break thing with the misunderstanding these two had. I cried for them and other characters, not hard, but there were definitely some tears! I also laughed out loud and swooned.
The Chase, is a spin-off of the Off-Camus series, it can easily be read as a standalone, but knowing the former characters will enhance your reading experience. Between the characters from Off-Campus and the new characters you meet in The Chase you will find some amazing friendships and bonds form unlike anything I have seen in a story in a long time. I cannot wait for Brenna’s story to come and I’m crossing my fingers that Hollis will be her hero!!
All college romance and sports romance fans need to put The Chase at the top of their to be read list! Grab it today and FALL IN LOVE with Fitz and Summer!
