Allie Sutton just got a new job.
Not one she wants, and definitely not one she’s prepared for. She hadn’t seen her dad in years, so the last thing she expects upon his sudden death is to inherit the thing he loved more than anything (or anyone) … the professional football team he owned for the last twenty years.
Luke Pierson does not want a new boss.
What he wants is to be a good father to his daughter, the best quarterback possible for his teammates. What he doesn’t need is a blonde bombshell ruining the team’s chances at another championship. Especially when that bombshell turns out to be his new neighbor. The neighbor he was a complete jerk to the first time they met.
For the sake of the team, they treat each other like complete professionals. In public, at least. Behind closed doors, it’s a different story. And the fallout of giving in to that heat is something neither one of them can see coming.
The Bombshell Effect by Karla Sorensen was combustible!!
Luke and Allie had sexual chemistry that was so intense it almost felt tangible! They circled each other like a shark circles blood. They were rooted in misconceptions and bad first impressions. It was funny for me to figure out their connection prior to them finding out. There is just something so much fun for me when I know something that they don’t know.
If you have followed my reviews for any amount of time you know that I am a complete and total sucker for single dad’s. They simply just do it for me. From the way that they put their children ahead of dating and will go to any length to make sure that their children have the best future possible. Luke was no exception when it comes to swoony single dads!
Luke’s daughter idolized Allie, from the beginning, think that she looked like Barbie. Allie, who seemed rather flaky in the beginning of the story, showed that even if you are a bombshell you can still hang in a mans world and not to judge a book by the cover. I admired her strength and they way that she took charge in uncharted territory.
Luke and Allie’s relationship was built on animosity and I loved seeing them finally come together! It was hot and delicious! The Bombshell Effect had everything I could ask for. It was romantic, talk about EPIC grand gestures, there were funny awkward moments, (cringe worth walk of shame) and swoony moments that will take your breath away!
The Bombshell Effect is a must read sports romance that will keep you on your toes and have you fanning your face from the heat of this couple. Add this to your must read list today!
Great review! Going to bump it up!
