Lauren
Going back to work was supposed to be a painless transition, but when my new boss turns out to be an arrogant, cocky jerk, he quickly turns my professional life into a world of torture. Okay, fine, calling him an asshat before knowing he was my boss wasn’t my finest moment. Hating him should be easy. I just never counted on him being so gorgeous or charming when he’s not annoying me.
Austin
I expected my new assistant to be professional and punctual, but all I’m getting are dirty looks and rude comments. I should fire the little hellion, but instead all I can think about is bending her over my desk and breaking every rule I’ve ever made for myself.
One look. One touch. One night. If we break the rules, our lives will never be the same again.
Good thing rules were made to be broken. And besides, it feels so good to Tempt the Boss.
I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
Tempt the Boss… is freaking amazing! I loved loved loved the torture these two inflicted on each other… definitely the strangest form of foreplay I’ve ever read. Okay, so it’s probably not what you are thinking of from that first sentence. These two play pranks on one another and these are some amazing pranks!
Lauren is a single mom and is strong and fierce AF! You can’t help but admire the balls she has to stand up to her jerk of a boss. Actually, she and Austin flirt like they are elementary kids on a playground, being mean to each other to show them that they like them.
“All the pranks in the world couldn’t have come close to hurting me as much as the words he just spoke did.”
I adored the push and pull between these two, it was entertaining right off the bat! Not only did these two have a great story, the side characters were amazing too and I really, desperately want more from them. Lauren’s kids were such an intricate part of this story and I feel like when you throw kids into the mix that the story feels more authentic, well… in this story. I can’t say that it’s always the case, but Natasha Madison has delivered on each and every character in this story. Tempt the Boss NEEDS to be your next office romance read!
The end of Temp the Boss leads right up to the next book in the series, Tempt the Playboy, and you will be dying to know what will come after the last words in Tempt the Boss are uttered.
