Some men are born responsible, some men have responsibility thrust upon them. Henry John Edgar Thomas Pembrook, Prince of Wessco, just got the motherlode of all responsibility dumped in his regal lap.
He’s not handling it well.
Hoping to help her grandson to rise to the occasion, Queen Lenora agrees to give him “space”—but while the Queen’s away, the Prince will play. After a chance meeting with an American television producer, Henry finally makes a decision all on his own:
Welcome to Matched: Royal Edition.
A reality TV dating game show featuring twenty of the world’s most beautiful blue bloods gathered in the same castle. Only one will win the diamond tiara, only one will capture the handsome prince’s heart.
While Henry revels in the sexy, raunchy antics of the contestants as they fight, literally, for his affection, it’s the quiet, bespectacled girl in the corner—with the voice of an angel and a body that would tempt a saint—who catches his eye.
The more Henry gets to know Sarah Mirabelle Zinnia Von Titebottum, the more enamored he becomes of her simple beauty, her strength, her kind spirit… and her naughty sense of humor.
But Rome wasn’t built in a day—and irresponsible royals aren’t reformed overnight.
As he endeavors to right his wrongs, old words take on whole new meanings for the dashing Prince. Words like, Duty, Honor and most of all—Love.
I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
I must admit that after reading Royally Screwed I was a little worried to start Royally Matched, (only because of the abundance of sex in the first book) but man, I do NOT regret reading this book AT ALL!
Royally Matched was romantic and funny, actually laugh out loud funny and I didn’t want to put it down! These two had a slow burning fire and passion between them that made you want to spend every moment immersed in this story.
“Someday, I’ll meet a man just like him – romantic, steady, reliable – and I don’t give a damn how silly that sounds.”
↑↑↑ That. That is EXACTLY, what a woman wants and we end up finding it in the ‘Playboy Prince’ Henry. This man will melt your panties and your heart simultaneously! He makes mistakes… I mean really what man doesn’t, but “Be still my heart” this man…he just did it for me. I don’t know how else to say it.
I loved the quirkiness of Sarah, she is a reader at heart and loves to spend time with her favorite characters over and over again, and I want to spend time with her over and over again. The way she loved Henry so wholeheartedly and the way they fell in love with each was just so fantastical.
“You are woven into my soul and you are wrapped around my heart. And if anything happens to you, both will wither and die and I won’t even care.”
I actually began to adore the Queen in this book, she has calmed down a bit and as we get to know her we learn that she isn’t as hard and harsh as we thought she was. Grab it book… it’s amaze… balls.
