The Price of Scandal by Lucy Score is a hilarious and heartwarming billionaire romantic comedy!
This was my first time reading anything by Lucy Score and it was such a fun read that I couldn’t put it down! I loved how the billionaire trope was flipped on it’s head with Emily being the billionaire instead of the hero.
Our hero was so cocky and so dang lovable! The admiration that Derek had for Emily was sexy as hell and he just understood Emily on a level that was charming as all get out.
The scandal in this story was riveting and I enjoyed watching it all play out immensely! I had the cause of all the drama pegged from the beginning but learning the motivation was really interesting if it made me want to throttle the character! The reasoning was a major eye-roll and I definitely ranted about it to my coworker who has also read the book.
The Price of Scandal is a sexy, charming read filled with trying to take down a revenge plot with a brilliant hardworking heroine that everyone will love to pieces. I cannot wait to read about the rest of the Bluewater Billionaires!
