Dear Assbutt Douchenozzle Anders,
You’re cordially invited to stop messing around with my emotions. You had your chance and like a coward, ran away when it got too difficult. Couldn’t you handle wanting your best friends, little sister? You didn’t want me bad enough?
Like I said—coward.
Well, guess what? You lost your chance and now I’m engaged to someone who isn’t you. Thank. God. But I’m going to be the bigger person here—for the sake of my brother—and truly hope you can make the wedding, and join in on all of the festivities. I hope you don’t choke on the champagne. Or do. Whatever.
Sincerely, The One Who Got Away Giselle
I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
Oh my gosh! I blew through Marry Me by Alexandria Bishop, it was a fun fast paced read.
I was not a big fan of Giselle in the Dating Trilogy, but after reading her story… I adore her! I thought she was kind of a snobby brat in the trilogy, but you see that she is truly a hardworking woman that is funny and fierce.
Anders on the other hand, I loved in him in the Dating Trilogy, and after reading Marry Me he is even more swoony! This man. Holy moly. My heart broke for him. When he realizes that he’s in love, he doesn’t stop until he gets his woman.
There was so much unrequited love going on here and my heart was breaking for multiple people throughout Marry Me. My heart physically hurt for Anders and Giselle.
Marry Me is a brother’s best friend romance that was both funny and heartbreaking and I highly recommend you reading!
