Mantrum: An emotional outburst or an expression of anger by an adult man.

I’ve never understood the attraction women have for an alpha male, until I meet single father, Rex Winters.

Tall, chiseled, and persistent, he tries to avoid a parking ticket by asking me out to dinner. But I know men like him. He’s a repeat offender–habitually getting into trouble and always ready to sweet talk his way out of it.

But his charm won’t work on me.

Not when he’s the reason I’m forced to attend a six-week anger management class. And especially not when I find out all six feet two inches of Rex and his two hundred pounds of sexy muscle will be joining me every single time.

It doesn’t matter how much he flirts, or how attracted to him I am. I’m the girl who enforces rules for a living and he’s the guy who breaks them.

Do opposites really attract?

I guess we’re about to find out.

If you are looking for an easy read filled with sexual tension and humor, then you need to check out Mantrum!

This is my first time reading Jacob Chance, and I just couldn’t resist the cover, the clever title or the fact that it had a single dad. I was hooked from the first chapter and I needed to see where it went from there.

What I really enjoyed was the fact that our heroine, Danika, had a profession that we don’t typically read about, she was a parking meter officer and that was just so unique, but it fit the story perfectly so that she would have to attend anger management.

I love that while she was attending the class with Rex because his constant ‘mantrum’ throwing that it felt like their instructor was setting them up, even if it wasn’t intentional, I just loved how they were constantly forced into close proximity.

I am dying to see where things go with both Danika’s friends and Rex’s brothers, it was foreshadowed at the end of Mantrum and I’m excited for more.
