It was just supposed to be one night.

No kissing. No feelings. A wham-bam-thank-you-ma’am tangle in the sheets and we go our own ways.

Only it’s a small town, and I was bound to run into the irresistible Porter Jones again.

I just didn’t expect it to be at my job interview…which he’s conducting.

Now the live-in nanny to his adorable seven-year-old daughter, I’m doing my best to avoid falling for his charms.

Except it’s much harder than either of us anticipated.

What’s a few romps between friends?
No kissing. No feelings. Just fun.

Sounds simple, right?
Right…

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

I am a self proclaimed sucker for single father romances, mix in the splash of forbidden and a one night stand and Doughn’t Let Me Go was just what I was craving!

Doughn’t Let Me Go was a fun, easy read that I finished in a day, it was Goldie locks when it came to angst… you know, not too much but not too little.. it was just right. It was filled with Teagan Hunter’s signature humor and had me laughing out loud.

We get to hang out with our friends from the previous books in the Slice series, which made for a good time because Dory and Porter thought that they were all sly and sneaky, but everyone around them, including Porter’s daughter knew that something was going on.

I loved that Porter did everything he could to set everything right for himself, his daughter and Dory. For a professed workaholic, he made quality time to spend with his daughter and there is nothing sexier than a man who is there for his daughter.

Doughn’t Let Me Go was the perfect light hearted romantic comedy I needed and I loved every second of it!
