Life Goal #1: Forget about my best friend’s brother. (Because Zeke Elliott is a colossal cockwomble.)
From New York Times bestselling author, Emma Hart, comes another hilariously wild romantic comedy about being the third wheel in your friendship and, um, accidentally having sex with your best friend’s brother…
I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
If you have read a romantic comedy by Emma, then I know you will enjoy Catching Carly immensely. It’s a hilarious hate to lovers. And just as good as Being Brooke!
“If this kiss is a battle and tongue is his weapon, then his passion is his army. And he’s winning the fight. Right now, he is, and I don’t even care.”
I love Carly and her quirks, just like every other woman she wants a man that will love her and never leave her, but how can you love a man who doesn’t trust you? Zeke is the perfect match for Carly, because she will keep him on his toes and he on hers. The banter between these two is more like foreplay than anything.
“They look easy and pretty, but in reality, they’re the opposite. They’re stress and false excitement and annoyance and a delicate clusterfuck that can implode at any wrong move.”
I loved that we get more of Brooke and Cain in this, book and I love that they saw in Carly in Zeke what Zeke and Carly saw in them, where it’s just so obvious how you feel to everyone but you. I wish we could have more from the Barley Cross couples, because I need more and to see where things go from here. I don’t want to leave this world yet.
Catching Carly is a must read enemies to lovers romantic comedy, that will satisfy you after seeing Carly’s two best friends become lovers in Being Brooke.
