Lucas and Daisy, the main characters of Anything You Can Do, have been mortal enemies since birth and these twos antics are hilarious. Daisy just can’t help compete now that they are back in their small hometown trying to takeover the family doctors practice.
“I think the Bush administration was briefed about our antics at one point.”
Daisy is so dang cute, petite and ready to do anything to get what she wants and she wants to take down Lucas, even if he looks different than she remembers, in a good way.
“Without a doubt, he eats protein and has a gym membership.”
And takeover Dr. McCormick’s family practice. She and Lucas will stop at nothing to best each other.
Anything You Can Do is an enemies to lovers romcom that will have you laughing out loud while wanting to pull Daisy’s head out of the sand. You get small glimpses into Lucas’ mind through drafted emails, otherwise it’s told completely from Daisy’s prospective.
“The last two people who knew Lucas and Daisy were going to end up together forever were Lucas and Daisy.”
This sounds kinda like Heart of Dixie – and I loved that show. Dowloaded the book on KU! Thanks.
