After Ever was a fantastic story. After reading the synopsis I realized that the story was much more complex than I anticipated. It was deep and intense.
Our heroine, Everly, was mute after witnessing something so tragic she essentially lost her voice to save her life. She had a very difficult life bouncing between foster homes. She had a tough time trusting people after everything that she’s lived through. I really enjoyed watching her learn to trust and build relationships even if it wasn’t in the most typical of circumstances.
When Max Tucker, sports agent, enters Ever’s life, it’s love at first sight. He can’t get her out of his mind, even with out hearing her speak. I loved how strong Max was for Everly. He protected her and cherished her and I ate it up! I loved every moment of his fierceness for her!
Over all After Ever was a sweet and intense story that will have you almost frenetic with energy waiting to see what happens. Will Max and Everly live happy after ever??
