What is your favorite thing to do when you aren’t wearing your author hat?
I enjoy spending time with my family, working out, and going to the movies. I love watching sports, hockey especially! Go Leafs Go!
What is the first book to make you cry?
Neither books nor movies make me cry, although a really good romance story can sometimes get me a little emotional.
What would you choose as your mascot/avatar?
I love the looks and power of a lion.
What’s the most difficult thing about writing characters from the opposite sex?
In many ways, men and women think and act differently. When it comes to emotions, romance and hot sex, sometimes I have to force myself to try to get into the mind of the opposite sex.
How do you select the names of your characters?
I like to use Google to find popular sexy names, and then spend time thinking about my preferences from that list.
Do you hide any secrets in your books that only a few people will find?
Let’s put it this way. I’ve found “secrets” in my books after reading them over post-publication. But yes, on occasion I will do this.
How long on average does it take you to write a book?
This should be measured in total hours, not weeks or months, lol. Generally, a couple months, depending on my work and family schedule. Family comes first. Always.
Have you ever participated in Movember?
I can’t get myself to do this because I look horrible with a mustache!
What are you currently reading?
Forbidden Pleasure by Lora Leigh. Very sexy!
If you could go back and give your younger self advice, what would it be?
Even though my readers look forward to me quickly getting my books out, there really is no rush. It’s better to take my time and enjoy the process. Writing is fun!
