I’m back with another interview in the Meet the Men interview series! Today I have my interview with Aaron L Speer! Aaron L Speer is the author of Undeadly Secrets!

Meet male romance author, Aaron L Speer, we discuss his writing style, his spirit animal and what he is doing when he isn't writing.

What is your favorite thing to do when you aren’t wearing your author hat?

Spending time with my young family. Getting my workout on. Watching my fav shows! Game of Thrones. Supergirl. Teen Wolf.

What is the first book to make you cry?

I’ve yet to cry over a book. TV and movies on the other hand? I cried at Never Ending Story

What would you choose as your mascot/avatar?

Wolf, eagle or scorpion

What’s the most difficult thing about writing characters from the opposite sex?

Getting their thought process to make sense. Why they do and say what they do. Most of my readers are women and im always conscious of respecting them.

How do you select the names of your characters?

I try to picture what name fits their “look” in my mind. But mostly they happen to be names I like. I try to come up with vampire names that are hella cool though.

Do you hide any secrets in your books that only a few people will find?

Plenty! Clues. Foreshadow points. Sneak peeks to the next books. Even to other series of mine. Only a few have picked up all of them

How long on average does it take you to write a book?

Around 4 – 6 months. Put revisions and editing in their and it blows out to a year release.

What are you currently reading?

Book of Souls by Steven L Smithen

If you could go back and give your younger self advice, what would it be?

To remember always to write for the love of words, not money.
