I started my reading journey with cozy mysteries, and if you have read read that genre you will know that the story lines get a little… monotonous. They can be very cliche and not that scary, but they acted like a gateway drug for me and brought me into the world of romantic suspense, which still to this day I cannot read enough.

I’ve always said that there is nothing better than love and murder. Of course when I say this I always feel a bit morbid, but you know what? I think that a lot of people would agree with me. (I hope!)

Where the Blame Lies by Mia Sheridan is a must read romantic suspense novel with a serial killer and plot twists you will never see coming.

All of my favorite things were weaved flawlessly into Where the Blame Lies. Trying to figure out who the killer was threw me for a completely loop because I was so sure I knew exactly who it was until the actual killer was revealed.

Under the Lights is a dark, thrilling beginning to a romantic suspense duet that is sure to capture hearts of readers everywhere.

Under the Stars was an unexpectedly exciting story! I anticipated something much more angsty, sad, depressing read, but what I actually read was a high stakes mystery with a strong theme of revenge.

If you are looking for a series with heart pounding intensity that brings the heat and heart breaking angst, you need the Corrupted Hearts series!

A Merciful Death will keep you on the edge of your seat needing to know what will happen and how the book will end! In one word, this book is intense.

No one does romantic suspense quite like Kendra Elliot does! The main focus is on the case and not the romance. I love that the romance takes a back seat to the murder investigation, but you can still feel the sexual tension bubbling under the surface of the characters.
