Six Times Everlark Showed Real Love
Can you believe that Hunger Games was released ten years ago already? It doesn’t feel like a decade to me because I hadn’t started reading the book until seven years after the first was released. Once I read Hunger Games I was hooked, obsessed and I couldn’t get enough of this story. A fierce female underdog takes over the world, what’s not to love?
I love love, obviously if you have hung around my blog for any time you know this. I’m going to take you on a small trip through all of my favorite moments in Katniss and Peeta’s relationship.
Let’s go back to the beginning when Peeta basically saved Katniss life by burning the bread so that she wouldn’t starve to death. Even knowing he was risking his mother’s wrath he still helped Katniss.

When Peeta and Katniss hold hands during the opening ceremonies. Even though they were technically going to have to kill each other, I loved seeing the solidarity in this moment.
When Peeta admits to having a crush on Katniss therefore making her desirable to the people of The Capitol.
The moment on the rooftop before the night before the Hunger Games begin.
When Katniss goes to the cornucopia to get life saving medicine for Peeta.
When Katniss and Peeta almost die for each other instead of having to kill each other.
The farther into the Hunger Games you read the better this relationship gets. Tell me what your favorite moment was from any of the books! Now, I’m going to binge watch the movies, because I don’t have time to binge read the series for a 5th time!
