It’s that time of year where all of us single women are cringing at all of the overly lovey dovey couples filling up our Instagram.  Excessively sweet posts that make us roll our eyes, because we know you are just posing for the ‘gram.

Now, that’s not to say that we don’t love to see genuinely happy couples that are true relationship goals, like these six couples from some my favorite romance novels.  These couples have made it through crazy unpredictable circumstances.

These fictional couples are relationship goals. Their circumstances are extreme, unconventional and hilarious. They are goal.

If need a laugh, some crazy antics and a swoony hero #1 Muse is phenomenal and at the top of my go to romantic comedy list!

#1 Muse by T. Gephart

Nick and Claire’s story is epic, what starts as an easy breaking and entering job to get back her manuscript turns complicated. I can’t explain to you how much I loved this #1 Muse, both characters had their quirks, but the intensity and judgement free love and passion they had for each was a breath of fresh air.

The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang

Michael understood Stella in a way that no one else did.  He didn’t treat her differently and she never looked down him.  What could have been a nightmare ended up being blissfully sweet and sometimes rocky relationship.

The Hardest Fall is a must read college sports romance that will make you, rip your heart out and put you back together better than you started.

The Hardest Fall by Ella Maise

Dylan and Zoe are big into hand holding and hugs, it was so intimate and made their relationship that much sweeter. I really loved all of the little touches here and there between the two of them. Their compatibly was off the charts! Dylan is 100% Zoe’s lobster. They are perfection.

Let's Get Textual by Teagan Hunter is must read romantic comedy filled with witty banter and an epic meet cute starting with a wrong number.

Let’s Get Textual by Teagan Hunter

The banter between Zach and Delia was hilarious and I can only hope to be that witty someday. When they finally decided to take their text exchange to the next level and meet in person, it was perfection. The chemistry was off the charts  and they had undeniable compatibility.

Tempt the Boss is an enemies to lovers office romance filled with hilarious pranks and a man who falls in love with a single mom.

Tempt the Boss by Natasha Madison

I loved the torture these two inflicted on each other… definitely the strangest form of foreplay I’ve ever read. These two play pranks on one another, and these are some amazing pranks! What started as pranks evolved into a fun loving relationship with a couple that will be up for anything.

Holly Woods Files by Emma Hart

Drake and Noelle’s relationship evolves so much throughout the Holly Woods series, from when Noelle shot him to their vows, their relationship volatile and brimming with love!  I can only hope to find a man that will put up my shit as well as Drake does with Noelle.
