Easy and Delicious Easter Side Dishes

Every year I struggle to decide what to make for my side for just about every family get together we have. We are very much a potluck style in my family and every family brings at least one dish. Now that I’m officially a grown up, I can’t just show up empty handed like I did as a child. Granted no one would tell me I can’t eat but having a kid of your own, you kind of feel that obligation to contribute to the meal as well.

That said, for Easter, I bring a side and trying to figure out which side always trips me up. So this list of Easter side dishes is just as much for me as it is for you, so we can save it and use it every year or for other holidays. Shoot, you can use this every day if you wanted!

These Easter side dishes are sure to be a crowd pleaser at this years Easter Sunday potluck lunch as a bonus they easy to make!

Mom’s Classic Southern Deviled Eggs from Family Food on the Table

This past year my uncle passed away from lung cancer, and he always made us deviled eggs for every family event, when Thanksgiving rolled around it was with a heavy heart that I took on making the eggs for the family.

I found this amazing recipe from Family Food on the Table and it was delicious and just like he made them!

Green Bean Casserole from Shugary Sweets

Prior to finding this recipe I made very bland and basic green bean casserole, but this one adds a little bit extra oomph to it and makes it a bit more tasty than just dumping some cream of mushroom soup in with green beans and topping it with fried onions.

Honey Butter Skillet Corn from Together As a Family

Hunter is obsessed with corn and could eat it every single day if I let him, add in the fact that this corn has honey on it, he couldn’t get enough of it! I promise you if bring this corn to your Easter lunch you will have everyone wanting to get the recipe from you!

Mashed Potatoes from House of Yum

I sent a pictures of these mashed potatoes to my friend Richelle and it turned out a few months later that she’d been saving the picture because it looked that good and let me tell you… they taste as good as they look. Also, I find peeling potatoes to be super satisfying so if you are like me, and you love carbs, then this is a must try recipe!

Million Dollar Macaroni & Cheese from Plain Chicken

Plain Chicken is one of my favorite websites, I use it for a ton of my dinner recipes and honestly you can’t go wrong with any of recipes! A couple years ago my cousin brought the mac and cheese for a holiday and honestly at this point it’s become a joke because it was horrible!

After that I took it upon myself to look up my own recipe and now this is an Easter side dish that is sure to please everyone in the family, those children in particular!
