It’s been a while since I last talked about pregnancy romance books, so I figured I’d give you a new refreshed list, just in case you have already finished up my other lists.
I figure if you love this blog there is a chance that you love you some some surprise pregnancy books just like me, so it’s always nice to discover some new book.
Most of these books are from 2020, but I did grab one from 2019 because it looks so good and I couldn’t pass it up!
Winning Hollywood’s Goodest Girl by Max Monroe
Raquel and Harrison sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G.
First comes love.
Then comes marriage.
Then comes a baby in the baby carriage.
That’s how her brother used to sing it when we were kids—a simple ploy to get under my skin and make me stick my fist in his face—but man oh man, did he get the order wrong.
One night of “kissing” in New York catapulted us straight to the pregnancy portion of the song—surprise!—and now I have to figure out how to carry out the whole melody in reverse.
A baby on the way first.
Then love and marriage?
It’s complicated on its best day.
But our situation is far more problematic than just a simple twist of nursery rhyme lyrics. Before our night together, Raquel Weaver was the best-known good girl in Hollywood—a twenty-nine-year-old innocent beauty whom the world adored and watched like a hawk.
Obviously, the consequences of that kind of reputation don’t just go away. Add in pregnancy hormones, the media, a fake fiancé, and a selfish manager, and you have the short list of my problems.
As a thirty-four-year-old, successful CFO of a multibillion-dollar media conglomerate, I thought I would be able to handle anything show business could throw my way, but I’m starting to think I might be in over my head.
Good thing I’m all in.
Winning Hollywood’s goodest girl is going to take everything I’ve got.
Accidental Surprise by Annie J. Rose
Men like him should come with a warning label.
DO NOT MIX WITH ALCOHOL—MAJOR SEXUAL SIDE EFFECTS
I accidentally married my high school sweetheart.
And what’s worse?
He’s not just a guy I dumped at graduation.
He’s also my boss.
Deep blue eyes, billionaire, and hot AF.
I couldn’t stop drooling over him if I tried.
But now, I have a marriage license.
A hangover.
And a walk of shame to deal with.
I’m pretty screwed.
The drunken wild night still has me blushing.
But this isn’t even the craziest part.
The worst is yet to come.
I’m carrying a secret.
One that would have consequences.
My boss is going to be a daddy.
Would now be the right time to tell him?
One Moment Please by Amy Daws
That awkward moment when an ER doctor has to inform you that you’re pregnant…with his baby.
Three things Lynsey Jones knows about the hot doctor: he’s grouchy, an arrogant jerk, and strangely obsessed with pie.
Three things Dr. Josh Richardson knows: he doesn’t talk about his past, he doesn’t do relationships, and the crazy girl in the hospital cafeteria who ate a fistful of French silk pie…is annoyingly irresistible.
After a chance meetup at a bar and a heated cab ride together, things come to a head and now instead of hating each other, they’re horizontal in a bed.
Three months later, the weird cafeteria stalker who crept out of Josh’s house like a thief in the night, winds up as his patient in the ER after her Tinder date from hell.
The doctor is prepared to keep it cool and professional. That is until her bloodwork reveals that she’s pregnant.
What really throws him for a loop…is that the surprise baby…is his.
That Night by K.I. Lynn
I got pregnant on New Year’s Eve.
That night was hands down the best night of my life. A magical night with the man of my dreams.
The aftermath changed everything.
After weeks of silence from him and a positive pregnancy test, it was safe to say I was in full out panic mode.
Until I walked into a conference room only to find Mr. Man-of-my-dreams-father-of-my-unborn-child at the head of the table.
Turns out the VP of finance isn’t an old boring guy with white hair.
Two different cities.
A baby on the way.
An intense attraction.
And he’s technically my boss.
Life just got even more complicated.
Make You Mine by Fabiola Francisco
A sexy contractor who loves driving his new client crazy. A small town, enemies-to-lovers romance full of witty banter and off-the-charts chemistry.
I’ve had a fifteen-year-plan since high school–get a degree in hospitality, learn the ropes working for a big hotel, before opening my own bed and breakfast.
Eli Hastings isn’t part of that plan. The sexy-as-sin contractor I hired to renovate my bed and breakfast is the kind of man I’ve learned to stay away from.
I can’t stand him most of the time, especially when he’s interfering in my dreams like a know-it-all. That doesn’t mean I don’t imagine what it would feel like to have him pressed against me, but those fantasies are my best kept secret.
I try to hate him, but one kiss is enough to give in to my desires. Eli challenges me to live outside of my box, until one major deviation in my plan is too big to ignore. I refuse for anything to stand in the way of my dream, even if it causes me to break my own heart.
Stay with Me by Lea Coll
Wyatt
We were high school sweethearts until she left without a backward glance. Now Lucy Perry is back… more beautiful than ever. I wish I could stay angry with her but its nearly as impossible as resisting her.
She wants a fling but I want forever.
I’ll take her on a trip down memory lane—the drive-in movie theater, picnics on the beach, even a boat ride to our favorite spot. She’s going to fall back in love with this town and with me. There’s no way she can walk away from me twice.
Lucy
I never thought I’d be back in my hometown, but here I am living with my parents. I keep telling myself it’s only temporary but the hardest part is facing everyone I left behind—including Wyatt Carter.
He might not have been the reason I left, but he‘s the reason I never came back.
Wyatt is no longer the easy-going predictable guy I fell for. An officer of the Department of Natural Resources, he’s an intriguing mix of cocky and bossy, which is almost as sexy as the way he fills out his uniform. I couldn’t resist him then, and I don’t want to now. I want to explore our chemistry but he wants a commitment—the one thing I’ve never been able to give him.
He thinks two blue lines change everything… but he’s wrong.
The Royal Rogue by Karina Halle
Every family has a black sheep – even the royal ones.
In the royal family of Denmark, that black sheep is me. Princess Stella, the scandalous divorcee, the only single mom in the family. It doesn’t bother me what people say. It’s always been me and my daughter against the world.
Then that world of mine gets turned upside down.
Prince Orlando of Monaco, whom the media has dubbed “The Royal Rogue” for many good reasons, comes to stay. The lewd words that leave his lips are inappropriate in any company. He seems to enjoy getting under my skin- and pretty soon, under my royal bedclothes as well.
It’s just a brief but torrid affair. Full of hot, dirty sex and nothing else.
Until that nothing else turns into something more, in the form of a big surprise.
I thought I got that wicked royal rogue out of my system but there’s a link between us now that neither of us can ignore.
A baby.
Alright, now that we have some fresh pregnancy romance books to check out, tell me.. which are you starting with??
