From his dirty-blond hair and breathtaking smile, to the abs from heaven and the irresistible V in his waistline, everything about Bodi Olympic-gold-medalist Banks screams hot piece of @$$.
Yet there’s more.
Dark shadows lurk behind his soulful, serious eyes.
I’m enamored. He’s captured me.
How can running an art foundation with Bodi Banks turns into a slow-burning, epic romance, even though he tries to push me away at every chance? How can I stay away from a broken, routine-driven man whose soul cries to be forgiven for a crime only he believes he committed? Or is that a lie?
I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
Meghan Quinn wrote the f*ck out of Stroked Long.
The prologue is going to grip your heart live a vice only to be loosened slightly throughout the book. Until the end when you will be bursting with happiness.
Bodi Banks (my new book boyfriend) is a beautifully damaged man with a heart of gold and tons of insecurities and quirks that make him even more loveable. He lives in a very monochromatic world, set in his routine and not wanting to break out.
Until he meets Ruby.
Rubies may be red, but you would associate her with the bright yellows and golds (get it? Bodi’s an Olympic Swimmer 😉 ) and she slowly chips away at Bodi and steadily fills his world with color and vibrancy and gets under his skin before he even realizes it happens.
Stroked Long is my favorite book by Quinn novel to date. We get some of the characters from Stroked, but you don’t to read it to follow this story. I felt their pains, anxieties, joys, struggles and triumphs. If you are able to put this book down all you will want to do is talk about them while you are away. I had chills and tears and I laughed and felt loved and cherished throughout the story.
I need Stroked Long in paperback so that I can sit and hold Bodi at night.
This is one of my ALL TIME favorites. And Bodi……H-O-T and sweet!!!
