It’s National Best Friend’s Day, but really every day should be a day to celebrate your best friends, but I want to take a moment today to talk about my favorite Fictional Best Friends from my favorite romance novels. I mean, we all have book boyfriends, but don’t we really have book best friends too?
You know that group of friends that we just know if they were here in real life that they would be your girl gang that you would hang out with and just have the best time ever?
You know exactly what I’m talking about, I know you do! So, I’m going to tell you who my favorite fictional best friends are today and I want you to tell me in the comments below who your favorite fictional best friends are!!!
CENTRAL PARK PACT
Although only the first book in this series (Passion on Park Avenue) the friendship between Naomi, Claire and Audrey is so unique and kind of similar to The Other Woman, except they don’t get revenge on the man because well… he’s already dead. But what’s so great about these women and their unusually relationship is that instead of tearing each other down because of the infidelity that actually built each other up and have each other’s backs. It’s just a beautiful thing that we don’t see often in real life!
THE PUCKED SERIES
I love this eclectic group of women! We first start out with Violet who is just brash and off the wall and a total pervert and then we meet Sunny who is sweet and quiet and easily embarrassed and we just keep going from there, not matter how different these five women are they all there for each other and have their backs, and it’s one group of friends that I would love to be a part of!

THE SOUTHERN ROOTS SERIES
These girls are seriously there for each other from the beginning, from an unexpected pregnancy to an abusive ex. These women are strong, stubborn and southern, basically my three favorite ‘S’ words lol. But for real, if you are looking for a group of women who will be there to support you emotionally these are the women you are looking for!
THE ROSE GARDNER SERIES
Although most of this series is told from Rose’s point of view (you can read other pov’s in the novellas) we meet her best friend Neely Kate and these two are seriously the yin to the others yang, the Shawn to their Gus (any Psych fans out there?) These girls have each others backs through murder after murder and heartbreak after heartbreak they are there to pick up each others pieces. It’s heartbreaking and beautiful!
THE LACEY LUZZI SERIES
I’ll admit that Lacey and Meg are rather unconventional women, but what would you do if you found out that you are actually a part of the mafia? That’s what happened to Lacey and her best friends is crazy y’all. I’m talking legit insane! These two aren’t always logical, but it doesn’t stop them from figuring out what is going on and solving the cases!
I guess really the thing I want most from friendships in real life and in fiction are strong women who lift each other up and are always honest with each other even when it’s not what you want to hear.
