Once I head that the next Morgan Brothers story wasn’t an actual Morgan, but their honorary brother and Keane’s best friend, I was STOKED! I knew going in that I was going to adore Zander, but coming out on the other side I am head over heals in love with Zander Shaw.
Zander along with the rest of the Morgan’s is hilarious, where the other guys were more of serial daters prior to finding that special lady, Zander falls hard and fast and every girlfriend is his future wifey, only to have his heart ripped out and stomped on in the end.
Aloha broke my heart so many times while reading Mister Bodyguard. She is the epitome of so many childhood stars, think… Miley Cyrus, but with a money hungry mother. This girl had been put through so much and didn’t know who to trust because her mother had basically ruined her faith in people. The journey she went through with Zander buy her side, not just as her body guard but has her friend was beautiful and I don’t think I could have come up with a more perfect match for Aloha than Mister Bodyguard himself, Zander Shaw.
I was in satiable when it came to Zander and Aloha’s romance. I couldn’t put Mister Bodyguard down and I never wanted it to end even though I easily devoured the story in a day. This is easily one of the best romantic comedies I’ve read, from the family bonds, to the drama and conflict being expertly balanced. Lauren Rowe’s writing was exquisite it. I think we only have one more story left in the Morgan Brother’s series and I don’t know how I will handle having no more books to read with this family involved.
If you enjoy family sagas I’m sure you will be bowled over by the Morgan clan, Zander Shaw included, in Mister Bodyguard.
