What is your favorite thing to do when you aren’t wearing your author hat?
Well, I suppose that would probably be chilling out on the Xbox. Though I am a bit of a ammeter cook so I’m just as likely to be in the kitchen whipping up something.
What is the first book to make you cry?
I’ve never actually cried from reading a book, nor from watching a film. Though I did almost shed a tear part way through Underworld: Rise of the Lycans.
What would you choose as your mascot/avatar?
A Tiger, I am a Tiger Fanatic.
What’s the most difficult thing about writing characters from the opposite sex?
Thinking. I know it’s trite but the adage of men are from Mars, Women from Venus is very true, and I think like a man. So trying to get my head around how a woman’s mind works is the hardest thing I’ve ever done.
How do you select the names of your characters?
Afraid there’s no trick there, I just pick whatever sounds good and won’t end up as a punch line. Fifty Shades may have made millions, but I bet E.L James regrets her choices whenever she sees one of the many Steel Grey memes.
Do you hide any secrets in your books that only a few people will find?
Nope, like my writing to be like life, simple.
How long on average does it take you to write a book?
Depends on the book. My first took three months. The Second two years. It just depends on life and it’s factors really. I may be an indie author, but I also have bills to pay.
Have you ever participated in Movember?
No, though I did grow a beard last year. That’s long gone now though. Not a good look on me.
What are you currently reading?
I’m reading Clive Cusslar’s Blackwind and J. Daniels Sweet Obsession
If you could go back and give your younger self advice, what would it be?
Oh that’s easy, put fanfiction aside and start writing for KDP. They do take Erotic short story’s!
